As new parents, it is natural to be unnerved with the barrage of information available, often not knowing what is right for our baby’s overall development. That’s where we step in with all the research and understanding of a child’s developing brain and curate fun educational solutions for every developmental stage between 0-6 years.
Our Story
Sneha Jalan, a graduate from Delhi University and a Chartered Accountant by profession, became aware of her underlying passion for child development, when she herself experienced motherhood.
She and her husband Abhinav Mittal, started this endeavour after their son, Viraaj, was born.
After spending countless hours researching for developmental products and activities for their son, they realized that there aren’t many avenues available for right materials and play that prepares a conducive environment for babies to tap all the potential of their growing brain. That’s where they decided to step in and bridge this gap. They wanted to create a holistic program that would ease the worry and efforts of new parents like themselves.
We are aware that there are different functions that the left brain and the right brain do for us.
When you are being analytical, attentive, objective, rational or are trying to process a language, you are using the left or logical side of your brain.
The right side is creative, impulsive, intuitive, thoughtful and is driven by feelings, beliefs and subjective thinking.
What is Montessori?
“The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own desire to learn”, these words by Dr. Maria Montessori bring out the true essence of early Montessori learning.
Children grow rapidly in the first 6 years of their life as compared to any other time, and these are known to be crucial foundation years for later learning. Developing language, concentration, problem solving, visual discrimination and physical coordination are primal during this time. Montessori learning supports these with the right tools, and a child’s brain takes shape in the best way possible.
What is Right-Brain Education?
When babies are born, their entire brain i.e.the left and the right hemisphere is active with 100 billion neurons (same as an adult), waiting to form pathways and shape up the brain. However, as a baby ages, the right brain which is responsible for imaginative and imaging abilities, creativity and intuitive senses generally starts becoming dormant, especially beyond 6 years of age. It needs the right training in this crucial period of 0-6 years to strengthen its capabilities and be used successfully overtime.
